Participating in a small group Bible study presents the opportunity to develop sound
Christian relationships
which can result in loads of support in regard to Christian parenting. Most churches have several Bible studies, but a specialized small group Bible study that addresses your challenges might be beneficial. A lot of times single parenting and step parenting isn’t the focus even in small groups dedicated to parenting.
How do you start your own study group?
First, you will want to select the curriculum, outline the schedule for the class, and get it approved by the pastor of your church. From there, you can focus on promoting the small group Bible study by getting listed in the bulletin, announcing it to the congregation and having a signup sheet. You might even want to develop outreach to attract visitors from outside the church.
When setting the schedule, be sure to allow time for promoting the small group Bible study and ordering the supplies before the class starts.
