John Maxwell: The Leadership Guru

I was first introduced to the works of John Maxwell when I was going to college for a degree in Business Administration. The first of his books that I read was Developing the Leader Within You, which was promptly followed by Developing the Leaders Around You.

The books were amazing and my impression was, "This guy has it right. He promotes honesty for leaders instead of the back stabbing issues that we usually run across in business."

At the time, I didn't know that he was a Christian author, never less a minister. His books were filled with truth and advice from a man that was obviously of high integrity. He was one of favorite Business authors.

He has published more than 50 business and Christian books and he is also a speaker for both businesses and churches.

He is renowned as an author and speaker of leadership topics, but he is also engaged in writing and speaking regarding topics that are inspiring to Christians regarding improving their walk with God.

His latest title, released in 2009, is Put Your Dream to the Test: 10 Questions to Help You See It and Seize It.
