Christian Marriage Help
Christian marriage doesn’t necessarily lead to “happily ever after”. Satan is determined to steal our joy because the joy of the Lord is actually our strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and it is his goal to disrupt that and make us his prey. Marriage is actually a covenant between a married couple and God (Malachi 2:14) and the enemy will do what he can to destroy it. He thrives on destroying families and feeds off of the hurt experienced by broken families.
If you are having marital problems……or if you are thinking, “I don’t love her anymore” or “He doesn’t love me anymore”, or you are thinking about being free from marriage assuming that the grass is greener on the other side, you need to take the initiative of restoring your marriage. I assure you from experience, the grass is definitely not greener; it is just dissimilar with different problems.
Think about these things…
If the intimacy is gone and you are more putting up with each other than loving each other, you definitely need help. I definitely recommend Christian marriage counseling. If you can get your spouse to agree, that is wonderful. If you can’t get your spouse to agree, it certainly would be beneficial for you to go to counseling to receive guidance for restoring your marriage and dealing with the pain that you are experiencing.
