Bible Commentaries: An Excellent Resource

Some people think Bible commentaries are only used by ministers and people in a small group ministry , but really commentaries are an excellent tool for in depth Bible study which is essential to Biblical parenting . After all, parents are often faced with complex questions from their children. Sometimes, a simple answer is not easy to come by or the best answer to give.

You may think, as a parent, that you are supposed to have all the answers, but it is an excellent idea to engage your children in Bible study when they express interest about a specific concept.

What’s wrong with saying, “I don’t know, but I know how we can find out.” It is truly a teaching moment when a child or teen asks a question and it is a good idea to have the tools at hand to take your children on a journey through the Bible.

For more than 20 years, the EBC has been widely recognized by preachers, teachers, and laypeople as one of the best commentaries available.

Each Bible book features an insightful introduction, detailed outline, penetrating theological and critical exposition, and useful bibliography.
